Live Waterfront Luanda

Background and Context

The project emerged after the owner visited Portugal. The client had already started buying some equipment items in isolation but realized that specialized support was needed to avoid random decisions and future problems in organizing the space.

This was an investor with business vision, but without practical experience in defining a professional kitchen, bar areas, and support sections for a venue of this scale. Upgreat joined the project to help structure the layout, define appropriate solutions, and turn various scattered needs into a coherent and functional whole.

The Operational Challenge

The main challenge was to create an integrated solution for a venue with multiple purposes: dining, bar, terrace, nightlife, and operational support areas.

It was necessary to plan the kitchen, develop custom bar solutions, select equipment suitable for the concept, and ensure that the supply was not limited to the technical zone but also included furniture, utensils, dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery.

The Upgreat Solution

Upgreat developed the kitchen and bar area layouts, prepared the necessary technical plans, and provided a comprehensive solution for various areas of the project.

The supply included kitchen equipment, warewashing machines, refrigerated counters, cold rooms, custom-made stainless-steel furniture, customized bar solutions, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery.

One of the differentiating elements was the supply of an illuminated glass bar with LEDs, designed to create a visual atmosphere and align with the concept of music, dining, and nightlife. A mobile, illuminated outdoor bar was also supplied to support the terrace.

To guarantee maximum performance and operational durability, we integrated equipment and materials from leading international brands, including washing systems from ATA and Actiwash, commercial refrigeration from Guifrio, Eurofred, and Maxima, as well as furniture and items from Marques & Silva and Ezpeleta.

Upgreat's Role in the Project

Upgreat acted as the technical and operational partner of the client, helping transform an initial idea into a concrete set of solutions for the kitchen, bar, terrace, and support areas.

The work was not limited to selling equipment. It included planning, design of solutions, coordination with suppliers, custom furniture, selection of equipment, decision support, and the comprehensive supply of multiple product categories.

Operational Impact and Results

The project resulted in a comprehensive supply for a reference venue located in one of the most famous areas of Luanda.

The relationship created with the client was highly positive and extended beyond this project. Subsequently, the client once again trusted Upgreat to develop a professional stainless-steel kitchen for a private residence, with solutions and equipment aligned with the quality already delivered at Live Waterfront Luanda.
